In the beginning...

Hi Everyone,

It is the day before we leave and i cant get my head around that!!  We are busy today doing the last minute things around the house and making sure we have covered everything. I am alternating between being quite excited and then being really scared!  Suitcases are almost packed and weights of both are well under the limit although i suspect mine will end up being just a touch heavier.

This blog hopes to serve two purposes, to keep family and friends in touch with what we are doing and also as a diary of what we do.  This trip has been in planning for a long time as a way to use hard earned long service leave for something memorable.  We look forward to sharing our trip with you.
